As United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week 2022 was held in New York during Sept 23-26, many government aircraft came to New York, or more specifically, John F. Kennedy Airport. After hours of waiting, I finally managed to capture this unique and rare A340-313, operated by the Kingdom of Eswatini.

This 21-tear-old aircraft has a long history. Brought by China Airlines, the state-owned flag carrier of the Republic of China, in 2001 from Airbus, it was sent as a gift to the Kingdom of Swaziland by Taiwan's government. This country was renamed Eswatini in 2018, so the aircraft livery was also slightly changed.

This aircraft arrived at JFK on September 19 and left New York on September 24.
