On Sept 16 (SAT), Air New Zealand started operating non-stop flight between Aukland and New York, whose range is up to 14207 kilometers, becoming the fourth longest flight on the earth, just behind Singapore Airlines' flight between Singapore to New York (15353 KM), Qatar Airways flight between Aukland and Doha (14535 KM), Qantas Airways' flight between Perth and London (14499 KM).
Air New Zealand uses Boeing 787-9 to operate this flight, NZ 2. The return flight is NZ 1, Showing Air New Zealand's pride in this flagship flight. This image was taken by me at JFK airport when the first flight was on the final approach to land on runway 13L.

Air New Zealand uses ZK-NZN to fly this flight, with 275 seats onboard. It is relatively crowded compared to other airlines operating such long-distance flights.
